Transparency / Personal data

Privacy Policy.

Your trust matters. This notice explains what information is collected when you contact TRIM VISUALS or leave a review, and how it is used.

01 / Who is responsible?

TRIM VISUALS is the portfolio of Andrii Orlovskyi, an independent photographer, videographer and editor based in Edinburgh, Scotland. You can contact me about privacy matters using the contact form on the website.

02 / Information you provide

When you send an enquiry, the contact form asks for your name, email address, optional project type and message. If you leave a review, you may provide your name, star rating and review text. I may also receive related messages when we correspond about a project.

Technical information necessary to deliver, secure and protect the site may also be processed by the hosting and security services used by the website.

03 / Why I use it

  • Enquiries: to read and answer your questions, discuss possible work and provide services. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a potential agreement and/or legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries.
  • Reviews: to collect feedback and, where you agree, display your name and review on the public website. Publication is based on the consent requested in the review form. You may withdraw this consent by contacting me.
  • Security: to help protect the site and prevent spam or misuse, relying on legitimate interests in running a secure website and services.

04 / Where information is handled

Enquiries are processed through Netlify Forms. Reviews and administrative access are supported by Supabase. Providers involved in hosting, email delivery or anti-spam checks may process limited information when needed to provide these services. Their systems may process information outside the UK; where a restricted international transfer occurs, it must be covered by an appropriate legal mechanism.

Review text and the name you choose to publish can be seen by anyone visiting the site. Enquiries are intended for private administrative use and are not displayed publicly.

05 / How long information is kept

Enquiries and related correspondence are kept only while reasonably needed to respond, assess a project, manage the business relationship, or meet applicable legal obligations. Reviews remain published while relevant or until removed, including where consent is withdrawn. Data no longer needed is deleted or anonymised where reasonably possible.

06 / Your rights

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, restrict or object to its use, or receive a portable copy. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful use. To make a request, use the contact form.

You also have the right to complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ICO): ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/.

07 / Website technologies

The site uses third-party infrastructure to host pages, process forms, store reviews and protect against spam. These services may use cookies or similar technical storage where necessary for their operation. The site's use of optional tracking or analytics technologies should be explained separately if such tools are enabled.

08 / Changes

This notice may change as the website, services or processing practices evolve. Any updated version will be published here with a revised date.
